Taylors Enriching Arran Pilot First Early Seed Potatoes 2Kg

A first early Arran Pilot potato (Solanum tuberosum) is specially designed for propagation, drought and common scab resistance. Arran Pilot potatoes are one of the most enriching vegetables to cultivate, with a short shelf life of up ten days it is best to consume shortly after harvesting to experience and maximize their spectacular taste to avoid food wastage. The oval tubers have shallow eyes, creamy white flesh and are perfect for chipping, mashing and baking.

Characteristics:
When To Plant: We recommend that you start chitting / sprouting seed potatoes in the third week of February. This will give them four to five weeks to develop healthy sprouts just at the time when they are ready to be planted out in late March / early April.
When To Harvest: May Onwards
Soil Type: Compost well dug soil
Advice: Tendency to bulk late
Good resistance to splitting and bruising
Disease Resistant: Common Scab
