Crowds of shoppers turned out in force on Tuesday, eager to be amongst the first customers through the doors of QD’s new store. Kettering is the latest in a succession of new high street outlets the retailer has opened in recent months. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by town mayor, Ruth Groome.

QD Launches New In-store Savings Stamp Scheme
QD Launches New In-store Savings Stamp Scheme on Saturday 17th October
The QD Stores Group is launching its first ever savings stamp scheme. Customers will be able to purchase stamps in multiples of £1, receiving the added bonus of £2 for each completed £50 stamp book. Stamps are available at all QD outlets, including over 30 high street stores, Cherry Lane garden centres, Lathams of Potter Heigham and the Buyright superstore in Hadleigh, Suffolk.

QD Supports the Brian Cross Memorial Trust
QD Stores is supporting the Brian Cross Memorial Trust’s annual Gressenhall charity clay shoot on Sunday, 20th September, held in memory of the well-known local businessman, Brian Cross. The Trust raises funds for research into brain cancer, a form of which sadly claimed the life of Mr Cross in September 2006.

Wellingborough's Opening draws the crowds
Crowds of shoppers braved high temperatures and turned out in force on Tuesday eager to be amongst the first customers through the doors of QD’s new Wellingborough store. The store, which sparked national media interest due to the sheer number of job applicants, was officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by town mayor, Mr Peter Morrall.
