Details

A goliath with flower heads reaching up to 60cm across, providing a genuine banquet for hungry bees and butterflies as well as seeds for birds in autumn.

Seeds harvested from grown plants can be used in baking. Leave the dead flower heads to attract and help feed wild birds in autumn. Easy to grow, but if garden pests are a problem, start seeds indoors.

Starting a flower garden is inexpensive if you are willing to spend time growing seeds. Your hard work will then be rewarded with a wonderful oasis right on your doorstep. Attract honey bees and butterflies to your garden which helps to stimulate the process of pollination and look after the environment. Planting a flower garden is also great for the sustainability of the planet as photosynthesis reduces CO2 emissions and roots reduce soil erosion.
