Johnsons Runner Bean (Stringless )Galaxy Seeds

A reliable, high quality, purple seeded variety that provides exceptional yields of long and very smooth stringless, narrow pods with excellent flavour and texture. Shows good weather tolerance and sets beans well in most weather conditions, very useful for maximising the harvest.

Easy to grow and versatile, peas and beans make a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal. As well as being a traditional side, legumes also provide a terrific source of protein for a vegan diet. Peas and broad beans prefer cool conditions but need to be grown in full sun or partial shade. Short on space? Many varieties are well suited to growing in plant pots. Ideally you do not want to overcook either peas or beans, keeping just a touch of crispness.
