Johnsons Runner Bean Painted Lady (Improved) Seeds

An improved selection of a well known and much loved variety, producing heavy crops of delicious beans with attractive red and white bicolour flowers. Pretty enough for the flower garden if other space is limited, where it can grow up trellis and pergolas.

Easy to grow and versatile, peas and beans make a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal. As well as being a traditional side, legumes also provide a terrific source of protein for a vegan diet. Peas and broad beans prefer cool conditions but need to be grown in full sun or partial shade.
