Q&A

What is a garden log cabin?

Our garden log cabins are the perfect balance between a shed and a summerhouse. Summerhouses are wonderful for soaking up the warm weather, but they can feel a little out of place during the colder months. A log cabin is decorative enough to use in the summer whilst being cosy enough to keep nice and warm in the winter.

Available in a range of styles, the cute little doors and windows are designed to replicate that of a traditional log cabin. Transform your garden with a versatile building that can work as storage building, as well as providing additional outdoor living space.

What is a veranda?

A veranda is the equivalent of a porch for your garden building. Usually partly enclosed with some fencing, the veranda serves as an additional space for your choice of garden décor or garden chairs.

A veranda makes an elegant addition, particularly at the front of a summerhouse or a log cabin. They make the perfect spot for a nice lounger or rocking chair, letting you soak up the sunshine whilst you enjoy a nice morning coffee.

What can I store in a garden log cabin?

Our spacious garden log cabins work well for storing an array of garden items. The perfect place for keeping your patio furniture safe and dry throughout the damp weather.

Essentially, anything you would usually store in a typical garden shed, can be stored in your log cabin. Then once the warmer weather has arrived and the contents is placed outdoors, you are left with a beautiful indoor space to relax in.

How do you build a log cabin?

All of our log cabins come with assembly instructions, perfect for those who are handy with a set of tools. However, if you are not confident in building one yourself, some of our buildings also come with the option of paying for a professional installation service.

Once you have constructed your log cabin, make sure to read over the care guide. Depending on how the log shed has been treated, it may require a protective coat in order to make it stronger and weatherproof.
